Ok, here's the update on the next Alex Rider book, Crocodile Tears.

Release Date: There are rumours saying that it will come out December 1, 2009, but other websites declare that it will come out April 25, 2010. (let's not hope for the latter!)

According to wikipedia.org, this book is going to be about how Alex has soon become a target to a hitman. This leads him to the result to going to MI6 for help. At the same time, his secret identity is being threatened to be released into the public. He is then kidnapped and forced to fight MI6 as well as the enemy.

This book will involve GM crops and international aid. (whatever that is)

Here is an excerpt from the upcoming book;

"Alex, do you really think you are the only one? he said. "We offer a way out, an escape. They chase us but we live. Help us save others who are bound with the same shackles. Alex, join us."
